My name is Justin, and I’ve attended The Anchor since 2005. I’m serious about not taking things too seriously, and I love asking questions—about people, ideas, and the “why” behind it all. The Anchor is a community of artists, misfits, thinkers, professionals, musicians, families, and now a lot of children - striving to follow Yeshua together, even as we hold different beliefs and backgrounds. My relationship with Christ started outside of Christianity over 30 years ago and has had highs and lows along the way, but He remains my homie, my hero, and my ideal. As an elder, I make space for honest conversations and help people wrestle with hard questions—sometimes helping with extra muscle or tech skills as well. I believe God is continuing to shape The Anchor into an unconventional ecumenical community that isn’t bound by tradition but still honors it.
