My name is Jana, but most people call me Mommajana or MJ. I’ve been a part of The Anchor since 2009. The Anchor Fellowship is a very special place where loving God and seeking His will is at the heart of who The Anchor is. It is the most earnest and sincere place of worship with which I have even been associated.
My relationship with Jesus is very special to me. It is like a long and winding road that has had many bumps, unexpected turns and detours along the way. Through it all Jesus has remained constant, unwavering and a guide to me even when I have lost my way.
I serve in The Anchor Kids Ministry. I’ve always had a heart for guiding, encouraging, and caring for little ones. It brings me so much joy to create a safe, loving space where children feel seen, valued, and excited to learn. My prayer is that I am able to nurture these little ones and plant seeds of faith that will grow and flourish throughout their lives.
I believe God is calling The Anchor into a closer relationship with Him and using the church as a vessel for His love and truth. He’s present, working, and inviting every one of us into His greater plan, preparing us for anything the world may throw our way.
