I’ve been attending The Anchor for almost 19 years and I met my husband Ryan here. We’ve been married for 17 years and have three children, so I owe my beautiful family and my life as I know to stepping into this community all those years ago. I first came to The Anchor as a young college student looking for a refuge after a painful experience at my childhood church where my dad had pastored for many years. These days, you will see me around The Anchor teaching the children downstairs and keeping my own kids from burning down the building with the prayer candles.
The Anchor is a seeker friendly church full of believers who pursue Christ without pretense. The Anchor has given me a safe space to pursue healing and spiritual growth without the fear of judgment. Our community is aptly named “The Anchor” because we have weathered many storms, but we have always had the faithfulness of God securing us to each other and the community around us.
